Step inside Riverside Market, pick yourself a handful of words and tuck in. You could make yourself a revolting recipe, a scrummy shopping list or cook up a delightful poem. We’re serving up nibbles, small plates, and feasting for all ages and abilities, so don’t be shy!
Alphabet Soup is an interactive workshop celebrating the language of food. A space where language is served up in all its forms, inviting everyone to taste, play and create. Discover the names of both real and imaginary foods, encounter ludicrous words you’d never expect in a cook book, find descriptive words to engage the senses and together cook up a literary storm. Be part of an evolving art installation for all the family, created by ALine Art.
