Friday Night Lights Vol. 6 is an immersive multidisciplinary arts event curated by Munchie Lunchie Productions Ltd.

Part of the ongoing #FridayNightLights series, the event blends art, film, theatre, music, spoken word and conversation to spotlight important social themes through bold creative collaboration.

The series brings together emerging and established voices for evenings centred on storytelling, expression and community connection.

This sixth edition explores “Mental Health through the Lens of Recovery & Addiction”, centring around lived experience and recovery as a journey of resilience, transformation and hope.

Through performance, visual art, film and open dialogue, the event aims to challenge stigma surrounding addiction and mental health while creating space for honest conversation, healing and reflection.

The evening will feature:

  • Live spoken word, music, and performance pieces
  • Guest speakers and lived-experience discussions
  • Visual art exhibitions and installations
  • Interactive live art experiences
  • Artist talks and audience Q&As
  • A panel discussion featuring voices from recovery, film, mental health, and community advocacy
  • A key feature of the evening will be a screening of the short film Dying to Meet You, a powerful true story exploring the pivotal moment Bill Wilson turns down a drink and goes on to create Alcoholics Anonymous.

The accompanying panel discussion will feature:

  • Ava Bounds (Dying to Meet You)
  • Alan Granley (Lived Experience, Ealing Film Festival)
  • Matt Main (Motivational Speaker & Author)
  • Scott Oughton-Johnson (Proper Blokes Club)
  • Amilla Sadhra (Lived Experience Artist)

Featured artists, speakers and performers include:

  • Amilla Sadhra - Visual Artist
  • Anë Chora - Interactive Art Installation
  • Jules Dobrovsky - Spoken Word
  • Nicholas Elliott - Visual Artist
  • Arkadia - Spoken Word

Friday Night Lights Vol. 6 will bring together artists, recovery advocates, mental health professionals and community members in a vibrant and supportive environment designed to inspire connection through creativity.

The event runs from 6:00 PM – 10:30 PM and is expected to welcome a diverse audience from across London’s creative, wellbeing, and cultural communities.
