Step into the rhythm of Fulham Pier with Jazz Box, our monthly celebration of the very best in modern and classic jazz. This May, we’re thrilled to present a one-night-only performance featuring the extraordinary Jamie Benzies and a handpicked ensemble of some of the most innovative musicians of his generation.
Jamie Benzies is an internationally acclaimed bassist, bandleader, and session musician based in North East London. With nearly 15 years of experience across jazz, rock, and global sounds from West Africa, the Balkans, and Turkey, he brings a wealth of creativity and energy to every performance.
Joining Jamie for this special Jazz Box session are Rob Milne (saxophone), D’Vo (electronics), and Barrell Jones (drums). Together, these four artists create a live set built entirely in the moment — no set lists, no safety nets, just spontaneous musical conversation. Drawing on their diverse experiences across styles and stages, they promise an evening of pure improvisational magic.
Coming together especially for the Jazz Box series at The Orange Box, Fulham Pier, this performance is about expectation-defying jazz, connection, and the thrill of creation.
Secure your tickets now and ease into the weekend with an unforgettable evening of live jazz on the banks of the River Thames.
