The Clay Garden invites you to step into the Christmas spirit as you create heartfelt handmade gifts whilst overlooking the glittering Thames.
This is the perfect event to share with a friend — come sip delicious mulled wine, soak up the river views, and get stuck in!
Water’s Edge will be reserved exclusively for this magical evening. With the river as your backdrop, you’ll raise a glass of mulled wine in celebration of the season and join The Clay Garden’s clay masters for a guided festive workshop. You’ll craft beautiful, personal gifts — from Christmas tree ornaments and trinket dishes, to candle holders, porcelain jewellery initials, and espresso cups. Choose from our menu of possible creations and hand-craft several pieces for your nearest and dearest. You’ll have the option to add initials or engrave pieces for a personal touch - you can really get creative by painting your creations to finish!
Expect an atmosphere of warmth and wonder — with mince pies, Christmas classics, and the golden sunset shimmering over the river. You’ll leave with a spring in your (slightly boozy) step, ready for dinner and Santa Claus!
After the event, your handmade creations will be ferried to The Clay Garden to be professionally fired and ready in time for Christmas gifting.
