One of Britain’s most iconic sporting traditions returns to the Thames and there’s no better place to soak up the atmosphere than Fulham Pier. Last year, we hosted celebrations before we had even opened and quickly became the go-to spot to watch the action along the river.

This year we’re doing it all again – only bigger and better. Here are 5 reasons to join us on Saturday 4 April.

1. Front Row Views on the Thames

Be right in the heart of the action with incredible riverside views as the crews’ power along the Thames. Whether you're cheering for Oxford or Cambridge, the atmosphere is electric as the teams battle it out for bragging rights.

2. Delicious Street Food at Riverside Market

Riverside Market brings together street-food vendors serving everything from global flavours to crowd-pleasing classics. Grab a drink from the riverside bar and settle in to watch the race.  

3. Challenge Your Mates with RowCave

Think you could keep up with the Oxford or Cambridge crews? Put it to the test with RowCave, the rowing race simulator, which is returning to Fulham Pier. Challenge your friends, race for the fastest time and climb the leaderboard.

4. Live Music, DJs and All-Day Entertainment

The party starts well before the first stroke of the race. From 11am until late, Fulham Pier will be buzzing with live music, DJs and entertainment throughout the day, finishing with a Balearic afterparty featuring a DJ playing from the roof of a classic 1996 black Defender.

5. A Full Day of Riverside Atmosphere

Boat Race Day is about more than just the race, it’s about the energy, the crowds and the shared excitement along the Thames.
