We’re on a mission to bring mindful practice and creativity to all of London, and with the summer months showing up, we are feeling extra inspired! So we’re introducing the theme of Summer to our next jewellery-making workshop. Think coastal textures, waves, sea life, shells, pearls…
This workshop is a wax carving class, where you can choose to make your own ring or pendant (or both, if you have time!) from jeweller’s wax. We use a specific type of wax designed for making jewellery - you can sculpt, carve, melt, build, and so much more to create your desired effect.
Our expert teachers will guide you through and at the end of the class, your model will be complete, and we will then take it away for ‘casting’ in your choice of silver or gold, which is the enchanting process that turns your wax into a silver or gold piece of jewellery! We will give you a more detailed brief of this during the class so you understand exactly how this happens.
Our theme is open to your interpretation, and we encourage you to come with your own ideas, but we will have samples available for reference and inspiration. There are some limits to what can be made, which we will discuss with you on the day. We will also provide a special selection of pearls in addition to our gemstones if you wish to customise your ring further.
Workshop ticket - £55
This includes your experience, materials and tools, demonstration of tools and guidance through each step (does not include your ring)
Your ring cast in recycled sterling silver (up to 8g)- £85 this is extra and includes cleaning up and polishing, size check
