Job description

Having launched in June 2025 we are moving from “new opening” to established London destination, growing from local curiosity to city-wide relevance. From footfall spikes to sustained demand, we are looking for a Senior PR Manager to help lead that transformation.

This is not a traditional hospitality PR role. It is a placemaking, reputation-building and growth-driving role - shaping how London sees, talks about and chooses Fulham Pier.

We’re seeking a strategically minded PR leader to work with our agencies and internal teams to define and deliver an integrated PR strategy for Fulham Pier spanning:

Consumer & lifestyle publicity, including influencer strategy for:

  • Fulham Pier
  • Riverside Market
  • Brasserie Constance & Flo Bar
  • New Spa (opening April)
  • Lighthouse Social, our members club

Excluding (but alignment required):

  • Fulham Pier Hotel
  • Fulham Football Club

B2B and trade PR:

  • Conference & events growth
  • Commercial partnerships

Corporate reputation and thought leadership.

You will be responsible for building national profile, deepening London cultural relevance, and supporting commercial growth across multiple revenue streams.

This role sits within the marketing team and works cross-functionally with commercial, hospitality, events and leadership teams.

  • Positioning Fulham Pier as a destination in its own right
  • Driving awareness beyond the local catchment to wider London explorers
  • Elevating the destination and its respective businesses into lifestyle, cultural and business conversations
  • Supporting measurable growth in footfall, dwell time and bookings
  • Building long-term brand equity, not just campaign bursts

You will shape the narrative of an emerging London landmark.

Key Responsibilities

1. Destination Strategy & Narrative

Develop and own a long-term PR strategy that positions Fulham Pier as London’s leading riverside destination

Craft a clear and compelling narrative that spans food, culture, wellness, community and corporate experiences

Build a consistent story that evolves as the destination grows, ensuring communications alignment among all business units

Advise and report to senior leadership on coverage, reputational positioning and long-term brand perception

Ensure the new wellness pillar forms a key part of the Fulham Pier narrative, alongside food, culture and community

2. Consumer & Cultural PR

Secure high-quality national and London coverage across lifestyle, culture, travel, food, wellness and luxury media

Drive profile around the individual business units and our experts (chefs, Dr’s etc)

Major launches - Building awareness of the Spa as a leading London Wellness destination, securing coverage across luxury, health, fitness, travel and longevity media

Amplify our seasonal campaigns, events programme, cultural moments and community initiatives

Position and seek out opportunities for Fulham Pier within wider London cultural calendars and conversations e.g. London Restaurant Month,

Build relationships with influential editors, journalists, influencers and tastemakers

3. B2B & Trade PR (Conference & Events Growth)

Develop and execute a targeted trade PR strategy to support the growth of our conference and events business

Secure coverage across MICE, hospitality, business and trade publications

Position Fulham Pier as a premium, design-led, riverside venue for corporate events and brand experiences

Support trade shows and industry showcases with proactive press engagement

Develop case studies and thought-leadership content to attract agencies, corporate bookers and brand partners

Build an annual calendar of awards across all Fulham Pier spaces, manage application process including writing of submissions, gaining approval with relevant teams and submission of entries

4. Corporate & Reputation

Lead corporate communications including placemaking credentials, community impact and long-term development vision

Shape thought-leadership positioning around destination-building and urban regeneration

Effectively plan for and manage issues and crisis communications

Prepare senior spokespeople for media engagement

Work with our agencies to complete regular coverage reports for the Chairman

5. Growth & Commercial Impact

  • Ensure PR activity contributes to:
    • Increased footfall from beyond the local audience
    • Higher event enquiries and bookings
    • Ticket sales and cultural programme awareness
    • Brand awareness across London
  • Track and report on both qualitative brand impact and commercial contribution
  • Work closely with marketing and performance teams to align earned media with broader growth strategy

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years’ senior PR experience across luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, travel, property or destination-led brands
  • Strong experience spanning consumer, corporate and B2B/trade communications
  • Agency and budget management
  • Demonstrable track record of securing top-tier national coverage
  • Experience supporting venue, events or conference businesses desirable
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of how PR drives revenue and demand
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing ability
  • Confident advising senior stakeholders and representing a brand externally
