Role
We’re looking for a passionate and hard-working Event Operations Coordinator to help bring our ideas to life—someone who can balance logistics with imagination and ensure the seamless delivery of events that activate and energise our public realm.In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of our creative programme. Working closely with the Creative Programme Manager and Programme & Events Coordinator, you’ll help transform ideas into experiences, making sure everything from the first site walk to the final pack-down runs smoothly.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that requires both precision and flair. You’ll be liaising with artists, production teams, local authorities, contractors and commercial partners—sometimes all in the same day. You’ll need to be calm under pressure, passionate about creating vibrant public spaces, and willing to roll up your sleeves when it’s time to make it all happen.

Responsibilities
- Coordinating the delivery of public events and creative activations across Fulham Pier’s public areas, ensuring everything is on brand, on time and compliant with safety standards.
Leading on contractor/supplier logistics, reviewing RAMs, planning site layouts, and working with suppliers to bring event concepts to life.
Acting as the operational point of contact on site during event delivery, making sure setup, breakdown, and live event moments run without a hitch.
Supporting creative planning conversations with practical insight—what’s possible, what’s not, and what it’ll take to make it work.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, consumers, and local partners to keep communication open and community relationships strong
Troubleshooting on the ground, adapting quickly to unexpected challenges and ensuring a smooth visitor experience throughout.

- Creative mind with the ability to think outside the box and help curate bold event concepts.
Skills, knowledge & qualifications:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A degree/similar in Events, Arts, Production or a related field
